Install as an app

It is possible to install the book as an app. This implies that you can create a shortcut on your desktop or on the home screen on your tablet. If you want to start the book just click the shortcut. Creating an app is especially usefull for iPad and Chrome for Android because the address bar is not shown and the book will be full screen. The advantage of an app on desktop computers is that it comes up as a stand alone application with the same position and size as your last session.

    • Start the book in a new window.
    • Highlight the website’s address in the address bar at the top of the Web browser window.
    • Left click the address, hold the mouse down, and drag it to your Mac or Windows desktop.
    • Release the left mouse button.
  • Chrome
    • Start the book in a new tab.
    • Click the most right icon near the address bar
    • Choose Tools
    • Kies Create application shotcuts
  • Firefox. Not possible. There are two alternatives.
    • Via this website
      • Drag the icon at the left of the address of this website to the desktop.
      • Double click the icon on the desktop. This website will show up in a tab.
      • Click on the image of the book to start the book in a new window .
    • In a tab of the Firefox browser
      • Start the book in a new window.
      • Drag the icon at the left of the address of the book to the desktop.
      • Double click the icon on the desktop. The book will show up in a tab.

  • Choose Add to home screen

    • Click the icon right of the address bar
    • Choose Add to start screen
